Our Urgent Care facilities are staffed by a dedicated team of experienced health care professionals who are trained to a high standard in order to deliver exceptional, compassionate care. We provide immediate attention for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses, and benefits of our centers include:
- Open 365 days a year, including holidays and weekends
- No appointments are necessary, and walk-ins are welcome
- We treat adults and pediatric patients ages 4 months and up
- Provide adult and pediatric behavioral health urgent care services
- All centers are accredited by the Urgent Care Association (UCA) Accreditation Program

How Do I Know If I Should go To Urgent Care Or The ER?
Urgent Care is for injuries or illnesses that are not life threatening. Therefore, we recommend going to the Emergency Department with the following conditions:
- Chest pain
- Difficulty breathing
- Uncontrolled bleeding
- Loss of consciousness
- Sudden loss of vision or blurred vision
- Acute mental health issues or suicidal feelings
- Change in mental status or stroke symptoms
i.e. Sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg, sudden confusion, difficulty speaking or understanding what is being said. Sudden loss of balance or loss of coordination.
What Ages Do You Treat?

Do I Need An Appointment?
No, you may walk in at any time without an appointment. Visit hmhbetter.org/urgentcare for reservations to Freehold, Monroe, Piscataway.
What Lab Tests Do You Perform?
We offer a wide range of point-of-care on-site lab testing and can send out any specimen to a medical laboratory when necessary.

- Rapid influenza A&B testing (results in 15 minutes)

Yes, we offer STD testing.
Do You Perform EKG/ECG - Electrocardiogram?
Yes, each of our locations have EKG capabilities
Do You Offer DOT Physicals?
Yes, most of our locations offer DOT physicals, please call ahead to schedule a visit.
Do You Offer Other Physical Exams?
Yes. Our doctors regularly provide complete physical exams (routine, for work, sports or school), including blood work.
Do I Need To Bring Anything With Me?
Yes, you will need to bring a photo ID, co-pay, your e-mail address, and a copy of your insurance card to every visit.
Should I Follow Up With Urgent Care For My Injury / Illness?
We will instruct you on the proper follow up for your specific injury/illness. After your Urgent Care visit we encourage all patients to follow up with your primary care doctor. However, if your symptoms persist and you are unable to make a timely appointment with a primary care doctor, please revisit our Urgent Care.
