Adnan F Danish, MD

Adnan Danish, MD is a radiation oncologist at John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center and currently the Chief of the Division of Radiation Oncology at St Joseph’s Health. He is also an Assistant Professor in the Division of Oncology at the Hackensack Meridian Health School of Medicine.
He has been in practice for 18 years, and is experienced in treating all types of cancers, with a special interest in cancers of the central nervous system, lungs, head and neck, prostate, breast, and gastrointestinal tract. Dr. Danish has vast experience in the use of all forms of radiation, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), volumetric-modulated arc therapy (VMAT), stereotactic radiation therapy and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR).
During his career thus far, he has had the opportunity to perform clinical research, serve on various clinical and quality assurance committees, and has received numerous awards for excellence in clinical care. Dr. Danish’s practice philosophy is to treat patients like his own family. He strives to provide quality, individualized, multidisciplinary, accessible, evidence-based care and hopes to make a significant and positive impact on his patients’ lives. For him, there is no greater calling than helping people to live and be well.
He has also been a leader in acquiring and implementing new and innovative technologies.
He is a member of national organizations such as the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), The Radiosurgery Society, and the American Association of Physician Leaders.
