Ahmet S. Can, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship trained endocrinologist who specializes in diabetes, metabolism, and endocrinology. Dr. Can recently joined Hackensack Meridian Medical Group. The reason I gave a 9 is because I don't give tens out for that question because I feel that there's always room for improvement, even if it's incremental, myself included, on my job. I think we can all strive to learn a little more, do a little more, you know, just go, you know, and he's fantastic. It's just that I just don't give them out because I think everybody can improve, even if it's a tiny bit. Thank you.

I received no information about my concerns or problems. I left the office with the same questions I had when I entered. I didn't get any answers to my questions, nor any advice or possible solutions. He only focused on routine questions and scheduling tests, and then he left without saying anything else to me.

The office seam to gotten better about scheduling. But I waited 1hr and 20 mins. Most of the time. But the DR, is very caring and good at what he dose. Still they need to work on appts. I do not want to leave this office, and I will if no change. Maybe I should n't tell others about him, maybe he maxed out.

He listens and communicates well with me anyway and I seem to get along with him and he knows what he's talking about it seems like. And that's it.

Dr. Can was very personable, pleasant and Knowledgeable. He did not rush through my visit.

I thought that the information that Dr. Can gave me was very good. I started to follow it since I've been there and it's been working out very well. But his manner and I didn't feel comfortable bringing subjects up because he didn't seem like he was paying attention to me. He was on the computer the entire time. We had very few words between us. Thank you.

Everything time I make an appointment with endocrinologist they gave me months ahead of time he doesn't do follow up and also one time I walked out because the appointment was 2:45 I did not get into the room until 3:10 I waited an hour in the room and the dr. Stills has not come in and every time I go make an appointment I see you at 10:45 and when I went to check in she said that the appointment was 10:30 if the appointment is a 10:30 is one thing but why will they say another thing and i feel like they are so rude starting from the receptionist to the nurse and to the dr. I don't think he is specialized in the thyroid field because my issue is been going one for a year and I have cysts and he still don't know what to he is blaming on my scoliosis I had scoliosis for years and nothing I had no problem as I do now with swallowing breathing and other issue the only thing he does make me repeat the same ultrasound of the thyroid and the same blood work and higher the dosage but the other thing he told that it can also be that it has infection and I did a google search and you can not get an infection from the goiter to the trachea unfortunately I have deviated trachea that he doesn't know how to treat it but he won't even send you to a specialist and also my pulmonologist saw that I have the trachea deviated causing me pain and breathing problems wheezing and swallowing , sometimes it bleeds but the dr.knows I have a large goiter that both lobes on both sides are filled with cysts causing issues.
