Dr. Alexander Shustorovich is a double board certified physician in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. He completed his training in PM&R at Johns Hopkins Hospital and subsequently completed an ACGME Interventional Pain Medicine fellowship at USCD Medical Center. Dr. Shustorovich treats neck or back pain, facial pain, headaches, cancer-related pain, diabetic neuropathy, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), joint pain, sports and overuse injuries and any impairment in function.
His primary focus is on disorders of the spine and peripheral joints, neuromodulation, use of musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnostic/therapeutic purposes, and ortho-biologics for pain. Additionally, he has special technical skills in fluoroscopic-guided injections/blocks, ultrasound-guided injections/blocks, and minimally invasive spine procedures.
