Dr. Oram grew up on the Jersey Shore and was happy to return back to her home after finishing her pediatric residency training at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She is a board certified Pediatrician who joined the Hackensack Meridian team in 2018 and continues her dedication to care of her patients ranging from 0-21 years old. Her special interests include diagnosing and managing children and teens with ADHD/ADD, breastfeeding medicine, and preventative care.

Philosophy of Care

I chose pediatrics because I love caring for children. I thoroughly enjoy watching children grow up and getting to know them and their families. I have always enjoyed helping people and strongly believe in family centered care. I understand that all patients have their own unique dynamic, needs, and challenges. Medicine is not one size fits all. I want my patients and families to feel comfortable with me and know that I truly care about them. I can promise that I will provide every single patient with the same high quality care that I would give to my own family, friends, and children.

Dr.Oram is amazing! She makes me feel comfortable and she is so easy to talk to! My son loves her!

I spent more time in the waiting area than in the doctor's office. My child and I only saw the doctor for 15 minutes, and we didn't have an opportunity to ask questions or express our concerns. The visit felt rushed, and it seemed like the doctor didn't have time to address our inquiries. Just as the physician was leaving the room, I was asked if I had any questions.

The service is amazing. We are super happy with Dr. Oram, Alexis Oram. She's just fantastic. Super happy with all the customer service that also is in the front desk. I'm very happy with you and having as our expeditation. Keep doing the amazing job that you're doing, guys. Thank you.

Dr Oram is a world class pediatrician and healthcare provider. World class. HMH is lucky to have her. What I appreciate about her most is not just her level of talent, but that I genuinely feel the level of care she is giving for my child. So many providers today just look at you as a number in medical chart, or a set of symptoms, a diagnosis, and how to provide quick care. Dr. Oram however is thorough, communicates on a level that builds trust and confidence, and even is kind enough to treat my child directly to maintain their confidence and dignity. Thank you Dr. Oram from the bottom of my heart for the care you provided. We never want to have to bring our kids to the doctor, especially when they are sick, but knowing you'll be there makes it as easy of an experience experience as possible. THANK YOU!!!
