Amy M Tyberg, MD

Amy Tyberg, M.D., has recently joined Hackensack Meridian Medical Group as part of the Advanced and Therapeutic Endoscopy team. Dr. Tyberg, along with her care team, ensures a great patient experience so her patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their care journey. She utilizes the latest technology to perform minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, and her goal is to improve the quality of life for each patient by helping them resolve their symptoms.
Prior to joining HMH, Dr. Tyberg held many positions associated with the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson health system including Associate Professor of Medicine, Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs, Associate Director of Endoscopy, and Associate Member of Clinical Investigations and Precision Therapeutics Program. Dr. Tyberg has been an invited speaker and moderator at many Gastrointestinal and Endoscopy conferences both nationally and internationally. Dr. Tyberg is also a distinguished academic as she has been published in over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles ranging the gamut of topics related to GI. She is involved in the ASGE Special Interest as the Group Chair: ETED/GERD, as well as an associate editor for the prestigious Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (GIE) Journal.
