Sad to see Dr. Fernicola is retiring. He set the bar to what a Urologist is supposed to be.

I waited 45 minutes beyond my scheduled appointment time to get called into an exam room, then I waited an additional 15-20 minutes for the provider and then I spent less than 5 minutes with them. I thought I my appointment was for a cystoscopy and it was not, It was merely for a consult. I waited over a month for the appointment and waited for over an hour to see the doctor for three or four questions and him telling me to get an ultrasound, I could've gotten the ultrasound BEFORE the appointment if I had been told I needed to. Then I get rescheduled for "after he gets back from his 2 week vacation". I have no idea where the disconnect was and why this needed to happen the way it did. I believe that if they had asked me to get the ultrasound before my appointment, the way they asked me to get my PSA before the appointment, my provider would've had all the information and could've scheduled me properly for the cystoscopy instead of having to wait an additional month and who knows how long in the office again. This is not an appropriate way to treat people. Not valuing your patients time and concerns is a terrible way to treat your customers, let alone people who are in recovery, like myself, or others that have serious medical issues. If you choose to be in the business of medicine, then you have to really care for the people that come through your doors.

appointment I got to meet a doctor my two previous appointments. I was with a PA and had no satisfaction whatsoever so I did enjoy this appointment a lot more.

Everyone in the office is very friendly and makes sure you are well taken care of. Dr. Fernicola is a great Doctor. He listens to my problems and explains the issues in an easy to understand way. I am very happy with my experience with this practice and would highly recommend to friends and family.
