Dante A Implicito, MD

Dante Implicito, M.D. is a distinguished Orthopedic Spine Surgeon, board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery.He specializes in the treatment of degenerative conditions of the cervical and lumbar spine—particularly spondylolisthesis. Dr. Implicito serves as the Regional Chair of Orthopedic Surgery at Hackensack Meridian Health. He has delivered numerous lectures to orthopedic and neurosurgical residents, the medical community, and at various national and international conferences.

Among his significant contributions, Dr. Implicito performed the first laparoscopic spinal fusion at Hackensack University Medical Center in 1997. He has been engaged in several FDA investigational studies on spinal implants and contributed to the development of the X-Stop device for treating spinal stenosis. His accolades include:
