Dr. David A. Forsh is a distinguished Orthopaedic Trauma and Adult Reconstruction Surgeon, board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.  


Specializing in complex fracture care, including pelvic and acetabular reconstruction, nonunions, malunions, and polytrauma, as well as pediatric trauma, Dr. Forsh takes care of some of the most complex regional tertiary trauma. He also maintains a strong commitment to global orthopaedic outreach, having delivered trauma care in Costa Rica, South Africa, and Liberia.  


 Dr. Forsh is an active clinical researcher and educator, and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, authored book chapters, and has several national and international presentations throughout North America, Europe and Asia. His work spans topics such as: 


·         Fragility fracture epidemiology in older adults 


·         Complex trauma reconstruction techniques 


·         E-bike–related injury trends 


·         Outcomes and opioid use following tibial and hip fracture surgery 


·         Quality and reporting standards in orthopaedic trauma trials 


Dr. Forsh’s research has helped shape critical thinking around study design and evidence transparency in Orthopaedics. His work has appeared in high-impact journals including Injury, Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma, Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, and Journal of Orthopaedics


Dr. Forsh is also dedicated to advancing orthopaedic education. He is a teaching faculty member for AO North America (AONA), the leading international organization for orthopaedic trauma education, and serves on the North American Musculoskeletal Trauma Education Committee (NAMTEC) for AONA—helping shape the future of orthopaedic surgical training across the U.S. and Canada.
