Hi, Dr. Leopold was extremely professional, very caring and professional. He absolutely understood my concerns. He explained everything for me to understand. He was extremely thorough. His staff extremely professional, polite. It was an overall wonderful experience and I'm looking forward to being on the path of wellness with him and his staff.

Dr. Leopold is an amazing doctor that asked me as a new patient my story and what brings me here. Unlike many doctors that need to get back in the assembly line with patient to patient - at no time did I feel the pressure that he had to go and get to next patient. This Doctor is absolutely amazing and will highly recommend him. The negative experience that caused much stress and anxiety is that the bloodwork the Doctor requested I get became an issue. He stated to make sure my health insurance Horizon Blue Cross/BS will cover this bloodwork because patients in the past had complaints they were billed hundreds of dollars. Awesome that he told me this. When I called my insurance company they needed a procedure code to see if it would be out of pocket. I was in the phone 1-2 hours as my health insurance company called the doctor's office and asked for a procedure code. The doctor office told Horizon Blue Cross that for lab work quest diagnostics would have the procedure code. My Insurance company told the doctor office this is the 1st doctor in 5 years of her experience that a doctor don't have a procedure code to provide and don't make sense that Question Diagnostics would have the diagnostic code/CBT. This morning when I went to get my bloodwork they said they do t have a procedure code and that the doctor office is supposed to to provide that. I asked if I can come back in a few hours to call the doctors office again and my insurance. Long story short- insurance company said without code they cannot give me a good faith estimate especially if the doctor cannot provide a procedure code/CBT and the doctor office says they don't have that information. I decided to get the bloodwork done that is needed for my health and will deal with the consequences afterwards. This is 'Integrative Medicine' practice that I went too and the stress and anxiety of 2 hours on the phone last night with insurance, doctor office, and quest and then a hour this morning makes me wonder if I need to get treatment for stress and anxiety. If Dr. Leopold wasn't such a amazing doctor I would go elsewhere because this medical code is beyond my realm of understanding.
