Deborah S. Pinzon, PA

I am blessed to be working in the pediatric emergency department at HUMC. My journey as a physician assistant began in Doha, Qatar. I remember in my teenage years volunteering and ministering to younger kids. Since then, my passion for kids was ignited. My experience in Qatar helped me to want to install a sense of purpose and worth in everyone especially the young. My passion has always been pediatrics. I received my clinical training at Children's Hospital of Montefiore in Bronx, NY.

I joined the pediatric emergency medicine team in 2019. Since then, I have had the privilege to work among talented and passionate clinicians. Every day, it is an exciting chance to learn something new and meet new cute pediatric patients. I genuinely enjoy helping the pediatric population and working with parents to help provide a bright and healthy future for their kids. I have two young children of my own; with them, I share exciting bed time stories on all the adventures I experienced at work. We enjoy nature walks, discovering new diverse places around the world while embracing their unique culinary gifts. Every day is a blessing from God and an honor to be a PA.
