Emma Rose Hecht, PA

Emma R. Hecht, P.A., is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in the diagnosis and management of movement disorders. She treats a wide range of conditions including Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, atypical parkinsonian syndromes, dystonia, Huntington’s disease, tic disorders, and related neurologic conditions.

Driven by a strong passion for neurology and a commitment to improving quality of life for patients with complex neurologic diseases, Emma provides compassionate, patient-centered care tailored to each individual’s needs. She evaluates patients for Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and assists in post-operative programming and long-term management. She also assesses eligibility for high-intensity focused ultrasound procedures used to treat essential tremor and Parkinson’s disease–related tremor.

Emma is a strong advocate for patient and caregiver education and works closely with individuals and their families to foster understanding and confidence in managing chronic and progressive neurologic conditions. She collaborates with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure a comprehensive and holistic treatment approach. She specializes in creating practical, evidence-based treatment plans that prioritize mobility and wellness, with a particular emphasis on the transformative power of exercise.

Emma completed her physician assistant training at DeSales University. She is a member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Association of Movement Disorder Advanced Practice Providers.
