Guillermo Hidalgo, MD

Dr. Hidalgo is board-certified pediatric nephrologist. His clinical interests include congenital anomalies of the kidney, hypertension, chronic kidney disease (CKD), acute kidney injury, acute dialysis, and kidney transplantation. His research interests include socioeconomic factors and progression of CKD, environmental toxicities and CKD, nephrotic syndrome and glomerulonephritis. He performs renal biopsies, acute dialysis and chronic home dialysis therapies. He participates in multiple, national and international, collaborative studies and has multiple scientific publications. He is experienced and teaches at HMH School of Medicine. He is fluent in Spanish.
