Philosophy of Care

My goal as a Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecologist is to provide compassionate and comprehensive gynecologic care for young girls. I believe that a positive healing environment with consideration for comfort is essential as young girls are introduced to their reproductive health. Emphasis on the individual child’s gynecologic condition allows me to tailor each treatment plan to the patient’s unique situation while providing special attention to each stage of reproductive development and how their condition will impact future sexual and fertility functioning.

Dr Applebaum is sensitive and caring. She listens and acts. She doesn't dismiss concerns that a patient has. She is somebody you feel you can trust

Dr. Appelbaum was very knowledgeable and she made my daughter feel very comfortable despite, well, not this visit, but she's amazing. It's our first experience in gynecology. She's patient. She explained things. She just seems to be amazing and we're really happy.

She was wonderful. She was understanding, very sweet, very nice, explained things very well. I was very pleased.

The wait time was too long. Appointment was supposed to be at one time and we got to see the doctor 45 minutes after the appointment time. By the time we left, staff was gone. So we weren't able to do follow-up tests and we weren't able to schedule even our next appointment. So a little disappointing and yeah.
