Hussain Muhammad Abdullah, MD

Dr. Abdullah is serving as Program Director of Addiction Medicine fellowship at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Dr. Abdullah graduated Psychiatry residency from New York Medical College, Westchester Medical Center, NY and Addiction Medicine fellowship from Stanford University, CA. He has a strong interest in de-stigmatizing care for substance use disorders, enhancing access to care of comorbid substance use and psychiatric disorders and developing programs to educate and manage adolescents at risk of developing substance use and related issues. His unwavering commitment to academic medicine stems from a deep-seated belief in its power to transform healthcare through integrated clinical practice, innovative research, and dedicated education.

Dr. Abdullah is dual board certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine with expertise in managing substance use disorders and comorbid mental health issues among adolescents and adults.
