Jessica T. W. Greenberg, M.D., is a certified Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist. As a fellow, Dr. Greenberg provided comprehensive labor and delivery services, managed in-house calls requiring both obstetric and emergent gynecological care, and offered comprehensive maternal-fetal medicine care in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. Additionally, Dr. Greenberg helped develop and execute simulation drills addressing critical obstetric emergencies such as hypertension, postpartum hemorrhage, and shoulder dystocia. Furthermore, she championed evidence-based medicine by developing provider guidelines for TOLAC (Trial of Labor After Cesarean) and postpartum intrauterine device counseling.
Driven by a desire to enhance maternal and fetal outcomes, Dr. Greenberg's research has focused on reducing cesarean delivery rates and exploring the influence of patient counseling on mode of delivery after cesarean section. Other research has focused on use of antenatal magnesium sulfate for fetal neuroprotection, novel treatments for preeclampsia, and treatment of postpartum hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. Her findings have been presented at prestigious conferences, including the ACOG Annual Clinical and Scientific meeting, Society for Reproductive Investigation Annual Scientific Meeting, and Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine Pregnancy Meeting.
Her commitment to excellence has been recognized through numerous awards, including the GME Resident Recognition Award from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School for her outstanding contributions to enhancing resident well-being, the SMFM Resident Award for Excellence in Obstetrics from Stamford Hospital OBGYN Residency, and the Farr Scholar Award from Yale School of Medicine for excellence in research as a Yale medical student and for leadership and creativity in the pursuit of medical knowledge. These accolades underscore her dedication to advancing the field of obstetrics and gynecology and providing compassionate, evidence-based care to her patients.
