Kaitlyn S Philips, DO

Dr. Philips is a pediatric hospitalist dedicated to improving hospital systems to provide the highest quality of care to all children at Hackensack Meridian Children's Health. She completed a pediatric hospital medicine fellowship and obtained a master's degree in clinical research methods, followed by advanced training in quality improvement and biomedical informatics. She is board-certified in pediatrics, pediatric hospital medicine, and clinical informatics. She has a special interest in providing evidence-based clinical care to children who are in the hospital. She also partners with all team members to understand, develop, and implement processes that ensure the best care is delivered.
Philosophy of Care
I believe every child who is treated at Hackensack Meridian Children’s Health deserves the very best care that can be delivered. This includes partnering with the care team and family in decision-making, communicating clearly and consistently about expectations, and addressing all aspects of the child’s health that will allow them to be their best self.
