Kalyani Ila Gardilla, MD

The doctor is knowledgeable and polite and professional, however, she seems quite rushed. I feel like there's not enough time spent in the visits and therefore important information can get lost or not given enough attention. It's also very difficult to communicate through the system of layers of bureaucracy that Hackensack Meridian Health has between someone calling the doctor's office and the doctor himself. They're like three levels in between. It's a nightmare. Things get lost. That really needs to be fixed. That's it.

Dr Gardilla is a wonder doctor. I've recommended her to many of my friends and family members.

Yes, Dr. Gardelia is a very kind and thorough physician. I would recommend her to anyone. I was discussing with her issues I'm having with my son with autism and she is going to look into certain treatments that I mentioned to her that are sort of brand new and just coming to light and being discussed. So we don't know a lot about them and that was very encouraging that she said that, you know, that she was going to look into what I was talking about. So that is really confidence building and I so appreciated that.

I did not see the doctor. I just had a flu shot. However, when I do see Dr Gardilla, she is great.

Dr. Gardilla goes above and beyond. I've been seeing her for 19 years and she's just wonderful. I can't say enough about her. So.

I was told my blood work showed high cholesterol. But she had zero history of all my years prior blood tests to compare it to. How is that possible? I have been with this practice forever. Also she recommended another blood test to check my cholesterol levels but had no idea if that would be covered. If there is a concern and bloodwork is warranted can the claim not be coded as such?

Dr.Gardilla is an amazing doctor. She is professional, kind, and caring. She goes above and beyond for her patients.

Provider quickly gets to the cause of the problem, along with the solution. Also is thorough and knows my history.

Horrible doctor

I found the support staff (nurse?) and receptionist to be somewhat indifferent relative to my previous experience in this facility when staff were pleasant and accommodating.

I received my annual flu shot.

I believe that the office is doing the best they can and I can't think of any improvements because there doesn't need to be any. What am I supposed to press?

This was only for a flu shot...which was why I said she didn't seem to know my medical history. She wasn't my doctor, she was only giving a flu shot, my medical history was irrelevant. I will say it was pain free both shot itself and rest of day.

My experience was very positive, especially with the women providers as nurse aides and food service, et cetera. They were wonderful, very caring, and very, very professional.

I've been with Dr. Gardilla for many years. She's very careful, thorough. On my last office visit, my annual physical, she was a little bit quick. She had to get out of there, and there were a couple of questions I had to ask her, which I had to come back at a later date to get done. And as a result, I ended up going in for far more tests, because those are the ones that I needed to ask her. But she had things she had to do, I guess, but she's She's a very good doctor and I feel that she's very good at coordinating my care and making sure that I'm taken care of and that I stay healthy for myself and my family.

The doctor was thorough but a bit impatient with me. Would not let me ask questions. A little more empathy would have been greatly appreciated.

Dr. Gardilla is EXCELLENT. She's been my Primary Physician for MANY years. I ALWAYS have ALL my questions answered. She has made OUTSTANDING recommendations to me over the years.

The phlebotomist, had difficulties locating the veins. I had to tell her to remove the needle, because she was hurting me and I also told her, from which vein to draw it from. She definitely needs to have more training .

Dr. Gardilla is the best doctor. She always listens. She's very empathetic and knowledgeable. It is sometimes hard to get an appointment, though, at the front desk, and wait times on the call could be long. Otherwise, would highly recommend.

I've known Doctor Gardilla for 22 years. She's always been my favorite doctor and I'm very comfortable with her and appreciate the knowledge she has and she knows health history.

The staff was very kind, and I had gone in for a physical, but I was sick, so they did change my appointment, which was very convenient, and I appreciate that. But I did have difficulty. My prescription was not called in until 24 hours later, and I was sick, so I was waiting for an antibiotic, so I was very disappointed with that. But on the whole, my experience is good. Thank you.

The Dr. did not offer any advice or make any recommendations regarding the reason for the appointment other than a script for blood tests. Nor did the Dr. do any follow-up after the findings of the blood tests were available despite my phone call to her requesting it.
