Philosophy of Care
My philosophy on care emphasizes a preventive approach to health, focusing on whole-body wellness and lifestyle choices to prevent and manage chronic conditions. I advocate for accessible, understandable medical advice that empowers individuals to take proactive steps toward maintaining their health, while also emphasizing the importance of consulting healthcare professionals for personalized medical treatment.
Families are special, as is each individual in the family. There is value in understanding the individual within the context of their family unit, and in understanding how relationships and interactions affect one’s overall health experience. There is value in providing a health home base, for primary treatment, care coordination, education and support for each person’s health journey. As a family medicine specialist, my team, my office, is that home base.
