Kelsey Allison Jakobowski, MD

Kelsey Jakobowski, M.D., is a dedicated Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr Jakobowski completed her residency at HUMC, where she also served as Administrative Chief Resident. Her journey in medicine began with hands-on patient care roles at Hartford Hospital, shaping her compassionate and patient-centered approach.

Dr. Jakobowski is committed to a philosophy of care centered on listening, kindness, and patience. She believes in creating a partnership with her patients, ensuring they feel heard and understood. Her approach is rooted in providing exceptional and attentive care, treating each patient with the utmost kindness. She strives to be a knowledgeable and approachable physician, making sure her patients are comfortable and well-informed throughout their healthcare journey.

Early in her  medical career, Dr. Jakobowski served in the STAR (Strategically Trained and Responsive) Team. She began as a Patient Observation Assistant, providing direct bedside care, and later became a Patient Care Assistant, working across 23 patient care units and the Emergency Department. These formative experiences provided her with a deep understanding of diverse patient needs and the importance of a supportive healthcare environment.
