I've been with Dr. Uthappa for a little while, and he is fine. But the staff at the new office was not too great. He used to have nurses in his previous practice, but I don't think these girls have medical training. Definitely downgraded.

You should be able to get your blood test at the office. You shouldn't have to go to an outside outfit.

Dr. Uthappa is the best provider. He listens and understands and he is an amazing doctor. The only thing I would want to give a feedback on is the office setup. It feels so tight and it just is not, it just doesn't look healing and a little bit more friendlier staff might help.

Doctor was very knowledgeable and I had him for years

After seeing the Dr., I came to the front desk to get my next appointment. No one was there. I waited. I heard some chatting at a room near by. The staff were having lunch. I did approach and inform that I was in need of a new appointment. I was told that she will call me. As far as I know, no one have call me for the new appointment. It's my first time in that office but, the place is in need of a good renovation. The place is dark, dull, stained carpet. Doesn't reflect JFK standards.

Facility seems to need some attention and upgrade

Dr. Uthappa has been our family physician for many years. We love, respect, and appreciate his care of our family and highly recommend it to anyone.

Two negatives about this facility. First you don't have a direct phone line to the office and your answering service needs vast improvement. Second I understand the staff caused the change of the office visit starting time from 8 am to 9 am. I always scheduled myself early to Dr Uthappa's office in Edison and it seemed always to have seniors in the waiting area. The impression I received when talking to the staff member is make the staff happy not to worry about the patients. Overalll what Dr Uthappa had in Edison was a better setup for the patients then what you provide in many ways. Of course that is a seniors point of view. By the way Dr Uthappa did not change the office hours the start time. It was 9 AM when he started.

The doctor is fantastic but the staff is not well trained nor they are able to handle the insurance properly.

He's probably very kind, courteous, very knowledgeable. I've been a patient of his for over 20 years, and he knows the track record and history, and has done very well with me in providing preventive healthcare benefits.

I don't like that you can't just call the office, it's impersonal.

The visit was stress free. The exam was very thorough.

too much time is spent on the computer...not the doctors fault...as i have said before....big brother companies want the doctor to treat the chart not the patient. This is not a reflection on the doctor....its the problem with big medical companies.

The front desk girl was rude at best. Need to ensure they are trained to handle customers/Patients with respect.

Dr. Uthappa has been my doctor for 15+ years. He recently joined HMH. Prior to my visit when I needed to speak to the "care team" it took 3 attempts. Compared to other HMH facilities (Clark and James St. Edison) I've visited this office (1080 Stelton Road) was a dump. It needs to be upgraded. I expect medical offices to be sparkling and clean. Not impressed by this facility at all.

The call centers to get an appointment make it difficult to get through. A direct line would be better. Telling me you will send a message to the care team does not help. If I am calling for an appointment its because I am sick now, not when the care team can get around to me,

The staff has been difficult, and I have not found one person I can talk to about all my needs. Instead, when I call, I get a different person each time, and have to explain the situation over again. When I was leaving, the receptionist told me to come back in 6 months, but didn't book an appointment.

The office should open earlier, not at 9:00 am. 7:30 or 8:00 would be much better. Dr Uthappa is absolutely wonderful.

Dr Uthappa is My PCP for Long time. He is a very good physician as well A very good Human being. Listen to his patient and give them A best treatment. I would like to have him my PCP forever.

The office Dr. Uthappa was given from in his location by your hospital organization is deplorable. It looks like it was pulled out of the 1950s. Old linoleum, old wallpaper peeling, windows that look like they are incredibly drafty in the winter. It's deplorable and you guys need to give a physician of his quality a better office.

Dr. UTHAPPA is great, his new office location is tired. Old, worn furniture, temporary signs, a sink that didn't work and had an out of order signe that had been there a while.

I want to be able to speak to my doctor when I call and not to someone at the hospital.

The place was in need of major repairs. The examination room is way to small.

Building is not so nice and office is totally run down. Poor decor, exam room was too warm and in disrepair. The reception staff was nice-ish but seemed overwhelmed and untrained. The nurse/tech was uninspiring and collected less information than in most offices. I like my provider. I do not like that office at all.

Everything went smoothly

The garden surrounding the building is infested with rats. Rats are everywhere. They were sitting on top of the specimen boxes. Truly repulsive. If this is not rectified immediately I will never return.

Not happy with trying to get an appt and having to go thru a switch board and then have to explain everything again when you get your providers staff.

Dr Uthappa is my PC for 13 year my son go to him too. He is very pleasant and answers all my questions I will recommend him to any of my family and friend
