Dr. VanDyck-Acquah maintains a busy patient centered clinical and imaging practice focused on Consultative Cardiology, Preventive cardiology with a special interest in advanced cardiac imaging techniques, Amyloid Heart Disease and cardiac imaging in women and diverse populations.

She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical center in NYC. She is highly regarded as an excellent clinician, a superb educator and a role model for younger physicians. As a resident she received the coveted Weingarten Award for compassion towards patients, staff and colleagues. She was elected a Chief Medical resident and subsequently completed her fellowship in cardiology at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. She is board certified in Cardiovascular disease, Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography and Coronary CTA. After her fellowship she served as the Director of Outpatient Cardiology of Mount Sinai Beth Israel– Downtown until moving to Hackensack University Medical Center.

Dr. Vandyck-Acquah exemplifies drive for teaching, quality, passion for medicine and compassion for her patients and her community.

My philosophy of care is compassionate and patient focused care - I believe in truly seeing the patient as a unique individual.

My greatest sense of satisfaction is my patients. I completely enjoy interacting with them, learning from them, partnering with them in their cardiac journey and seeing them transition from one issue to becoming a healthy knowledgeable cardiac patient, while providing care that is just right for them.

I must say the office is very pleasant and Doctor is top notch

I just really like and trust Dr. Van Dyck. She's been consistent, very interested in my health as I report it to her and usually has some recommendation for me and I'm always very pleased. Sometimes wait period is a little longer. Yesterday it something must have happened because I really had a wait. She may have had a complicated person before me. One of the office managers had come in and said, kept me company for a little while while we waited and she said something must have happened because this is not like her. So I understand it can happen.

My doctor is the Best! My visits are always excellent.

Dr. Van Dyck was very attentive and gave excellent explanation and put together a very nice, I feel confident that it's a good plan for my amyoidosis. And so I'm going to continue with Dr. Van Dyck and follow her recommendations. She did a great job. Thank you.
