Mohammad Amir Hossain, MD

Dr. Mohammad Hossain is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine with extensive experience dedicated to the practice and teaching of medicine. He serves as the Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at JSUMC and is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.

In his primary care practice, Dr. Hossain offers comprehensive management of acute and chronic adult medical conditions including preoperative evaluation and a strong focus on preventive medicine. As a passionate educator and researcher, he has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and is actively involved in research and scholarly activities with residents and medical students. This commitment to academia ensures his clinical practice is informed by the most updated clinical guidelines and evidence-based recommendations. Dr. Hossain is known for his empathetic approach.
