Negin Noorchashm Griffith, MD

Dr. Negin Griffith is a board certified plastic surgeon based in Red Bank, New Jersey and specializing in breast reconstruction. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Griffith entered the University of Pennsylvania as an undergraduate at the age 14, graduating with honors before attending the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where she won the Ross Musgrave Award as the "most outstanding medical student on plastic surgery rotation." She then remained at the University of Pittsburgh, one of the strongest and most comprehensive plastic surgery training programs in the nation, where she completed a combined General Surgery and Plastic Surgery Residency. During residency, Dr. Griffith won the "outstanding resident research award" and spent a research year at the University of Pennsylvania.

After training, Dr. Griffith started her practice in Monmouth County, where she performed the first ever DIEP flap microsurgical breast reconstruction in New Jersey. Over the course of her years in practice, Dr. Griffith has served as President of the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons, an Oral Examiner for the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Vice President of the medical staff at Riverview Medical Center, a trustee of the Riverview Medical Center Foundation, and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery Comprehensive In-service Examination Committee, writing part of the annual examination given to all US plastic surgery trainees.
