Neil David Sherman, MD

Neil D. Sherman, M.D., is a board-certified Urologist with an additional certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. He offers a range of medical and surgical treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and erectile dysfunction (ED). Dr. Sherman received his Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from James Madison University. He then went on to earn his M.D. from New York Medical College. Following medical school, he completed his residency in General Surgery and Urologic Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey. He further honed his skills with a fellowship in Reconstructive Urology, Female Urology & Urodynamics at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Sherman has held various positions throughout his career, including Assistant Professor and Director of Female Urology and Urodynamics at UMDNJ - New Jersey Medical School, and Attending Physician at several hospitals in New Jersey. He currently serves as Chief of the Division of Urology at JFK University Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. Dr. Sherman is an active researcher and has authored or co-authored numerous articles and book chapters on various urological topics, including erectile dysfunction, urinary incontinence, and urethral stricture repair. He has also presented his research at national and international conferences.
