Hackensack Meridian K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital is proud to have Nicole Marcantuono, M.D., as the section Chief of Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

With a passion to help all children reach their fullest potential, Dr. Marcantuono specializes in brain injury and concussion, and treats a wide-range of disabilities, conditions, and injuries to help patients achieve their maximum mobility.

For procedures, Dr. Marcantuono is able to provide many critical procedures including, but not limited to botox injections, intrathecal baclofen pump management, electromyography (EMG), and dry needling.

Philosophy of Care

My passion is helping all children reach their fullest potential and have the best quality of life regardless of any obstacles they may face. I believe in a family-centered approach to care and involving youth and their caregivers in decision making when developing their plan of care. We work together as a team to obtain the best outcome.

I can't say enough about Dr. Marcantuono and her staff. The facility was immaculate, super clean, the most friendly staff, extremely welcoming and patient with my son who's three years old. Nicole, Dr. Nicole spent 80 minutes with us. She had all the love, care and patience in the world. She's wonderful with children. She knows how to make them feel comfortable, how to give them the attention. She's able to multitask and listen to every detail of everything, answer every question thoroughly. She made us feel so much better. She's a doctor that I will remember for the rest of my life and refer anybody who would ever need physiatrist services. I can't say enough about Dr. Marcantuono

The doctor was extremely, extremely approachable, explained everything thoroughly, and made so where a commoner could understand. She was fantastic.

Amazing experience all around! From the front desk to the doctor, everyone was kind, knowledgeable, and caring. I felt like my son was in wonderful hands!
