Nicole Marie Leone, MD
Dr. Leone is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric hospital medicine. She sees pediatric patients hospitalized with a broad range of conditions. She has a particular interest in quality improvement and patient safety, and spends much of her time working to improve the overall care of children within the institution and making the hospital a safer place for patients.
Philosophy of Care
I think it is incredibly important for my patient and their caregivers to be a part of the medical decision-making team, therefore, I emphasize family-centered communication, engaging patients and their families in evidence-based medicine and shared decision-making. I really enjoy working with providers across disciplines to ensure all needs for my patients are being met. Overall, I am passionate about delivering safe and effective care to hospitalized children.
