Oluseun A Sowemimo, MD

Oluseun (Seun) Sowemimo, M.D., is a board certified general and bariatric surgeon, fellowship-trained in laparoscopic surgery from Yale-New Haven Hospital of St. Raphael. Specializing in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, he has earned hundreds of 5-star patient reviews for his surgical weight loss, hernia and gallbladder procedures.

An obesity expert, Dr. Seun, as he is known by his patients, has been featured on News12 NJ, CBS and NY1. He has written patient-targeted health content for the Asbury Park Press, Reader's Digest, and Yahoo.com.

Dr. Seun is a surgeon at the Center for Weight Loss at Old Bridge Medical Center, an MBSAQIP-accredited Bariatric Surgery Program, and has a private practice, Prime Surgicare,with offices in Old Bridge, Jackson, and Freehold, NJ.
