Frequently Asked Questions
What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first visit includes a review of your medical history, medications, and health goals to create a personalized care plan.
Does your health system offer Urgent Care for same-day needs?
Your primary care doctor is the best first step for most non-emergency symptoms, including cough, congestion, sore throat, fever, ear pain, mild injuries, stomach issues and ongoing symptoms. Urgent Care is recommended for conditions that need same-day treatment but are not life-threatening, such as worsening infections, minor sprains, rashes, or injuries that need X-rays. If you are unsure, you can call our office or visit an urgent care today.
When should I call my primary care provider if I think I have a cold, covid or the flu?
If you are experiencing mild, manageable symptoms, it's often best to rest at home and monitor your health. Please call our office right away if you develop difficulty breathing, persistent chest pain, or an inability to keep fluids down. We also want to hear from you if a high fever (100.4°F or higher) lasts for more than three days or if you belong to a high-risk group. Your provider can offer guidance on testing and the next best steps for your care.
How can I access my test results through MyChart?
You can view your lab results, imaging reports, visit summaries, and messages through MyChart. Once your provider releases your results, you'll receive a notification by email or text. Sign in through the MyChart app or website to review your information, send questions, and schedule appointments.
