Preeti Dilip Subhedar, MD

Preeti D. Subhedar, M.D., MS, FACS, is a board-certified Breast Surgical Oncologist with over 15 years of experience and is dedicated to providing world-class care to all her patients. Trained at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Dr. Subhedar believes that location shouldn't be a barrier to accessing cutting-edge treatment. She is committed to ensuring that every patient has the opportunity to participate in clinical trials, benefit from minimally invasive surgical procedures, and utilize the latest imaging technology to maximize the patient’s chance for a positive outcome.

Beyond patient care, Dr. Subhedar is a passionate advocate for improving healthcare systems. As the Medical Director of Breast Surgery at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, she spearheaded process improvements, including restructuring operating room scheduling to increase efficiency and patient volume, and developing patient education tools to clarify treatment plans. At Emory University Hospital, she collaborated on the implementation of advanced breast localization technology, enhancing both surgical precision and patient
experience. These initiatives reflect her commitment to optimizing the delivery of comprehensive breast care.

Dr. Subhedar is fluent in English and Marathi and is an active member in the following Societies: American College of Surgeons, Society of Surgical Oncology, American Society of Breast Surgeons, Southeastern Surgical Congress, and Westchester Medical Society.
