Frequently Asked Questions
- What if I have pain in multiple areas of my body? Multiple body parts may require multiple visits. Given time constraints and appropriate treatment plans for different body parts, Dr. Panchal will generally focus on the 1-2 regions of your body causing the most significant pain.
- What is Dr. Panchal's approach to pain medication, especially regarding chronic opioids? Dr. Panchal is primarily interventional and procedure based. He will not begin new chronic opioid prescriptions but is happy to explore other medication options with you. If you are already on opioids, we can help but we do not continue opioid prescriptions long term. We will work towards a safe medication change or weaning off.
- What records should I bring? If you have an MRI/CT scan of the relevant body part, please bring the CD and report to the visit. Similarly, if you have previously received injections for the affected body part, please bring any old records or information regarding those interventions.
