Robert James Gallo, M.D., FACOG, completed medical school at the University of Rome, Italy. He grew up in Palisades Park, NJ, and graduated from Fordham Preparatory School, Bronx, NY, and Rutgers College in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He completed his residency at Rutgers Medical School and at the Margaret Hague Maternity Hospital in Jersey City.

Dr. Gallo has been a board certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist since 1983. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Gallo is a Clinical Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at HackensackMeridian School of Medicine, and serves as Coordinator of Administrative Affairs for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Dr. Gallo is the Past President of the New Jersey Obstetrical and Gynecological Society. He is a member of the Medical Society of New Jersey, and the Bergen County Medical Society. He is a fellow of the American Fertility Society.

Dr. Gallo and his wife, Terrie have been married for 49 years, are the parents of nine biological children, have two adopted daughters, and an adopted son. Dr. & Mrs. Gallo have eighteen grandchildren.

Very good Doctor!

Dr. Gallo is the most unbelievable doctor. I would recommend him to anybody in the world. He makes you understand what it is that you're asking. He's interested. He's never rushing. He's the best of the best.

I've been with Dr. Gallo for many, many years and he is always the best. Such a great communicator, makes you feel so at ease with any questions or if you have any problems. He's just such a great doctor.
