Roopal M Karia-Patel, MD

Dr. Karia has been in practice since 2002 and has an interest in providing care for patients with epilepsy, headaches, developmental delays, and other neurologic diseases. With expertise in Video EEG monitoring, Dr. Karia has been instrumental at K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital's Pediatric Epilepsy program. Her goal is to maximize seizure control in patients while improving the EEG so that the patient can ultimately be tapered off traditional antiepileptic medication. Along with traditional treatments for neurologic disorders, Dr. Karia also guides families using Integrative Medicine principals. With a Board Certification in Integrative Medicine, she enjoys combining various medical and holistic approaches to achieve the best results for patients.
