I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) specializing in pediatric primary care, and I have dedicated my entire career to caring for children. My passion for pediatrics began after graduating from Georgetown University in 2004 and has taken me across the country and through various pediatric care settings, including pediatric hospitals, pediatric intensive care units, and home health. These experiences have shaped my approach to medicine and reinforced my commitment to family-centered care.

Since becoming a pediatric APN in 2011 and earning my DNP in 2018, my philosophy has remained the same: I believe in building strong, lasting relationships with my patients and their families, creating a foundation of trust and mutual respect. My clinical interests include newborn and infant care, developmental screenings and milestone tracking, management of acute childhood illnesses, and parent education and family-centered support. I treat common childhood illnesses (ear/respiratory infections, strep throat, rashes), minor injuries, chronic diseases (asthma, allergies, eczema), and mental/behavioral health conditions. I also perform procedures such as foreign body removal from ears and noses, cerumen removal, and Dermabond application on lacerations.

I am fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, allowing me to connect with and provide compassionate care to families from many communities.

Well-child visits are the heart of pediatric care. They give us the opportunity to make sure your child is growing and developing on track, while also giving us dedicated time to discuss sleep, nutrition, parenting concerns, and more. I am also a strong advocate for following the recommended vaccine schedule, which was carefully designed by leading experts to protect children when they are most vulnerable to serious diseases. I am always happy to answer questions and explain the "why" behind each vaccine.

How will you keep my child's other providers informed?

I see myself as part of your child's broader healthcare team. I communicate directly and regularly with any specialists involved in your child's care to ensure their treatment is seamless and fully integrated. Coordinated care is essential to supporting your child's overall health and well-being.

You know your child better than anyone else, and I always encourage parents to trust their instincts. If something feels "just not right," please never hesitate to call our office—there is no question too small or concern too silly.
