Neonatology
Dr. Cheung joined Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital in 2016 after completing Neonatal-Perinatal fellowship. Having completed a Master of Public Health degree prior to medical training, she has an interest in quality improvement and its impact on the NICU environment. In addition, she realized neonatology allows her to combine her interest in the basic sciences, fervor for lifelong learning, and affection for neonates and medicine.
Philosophy of Care
Neonatology requires an understanding of the complex physiology, growth and life of a fetus in utero and the transition of that fetus into a neonate. As a neonatologist she can be an advocate for the healthy development of infant and their families.
