Scott Charles Wheeler, MD Urology in Manahawkin, NJ

Scott Wheeler, M.D., is a board certified urologist who has recently joined Hackensack Meridian Medical Group in Manahawkin. Prior to joining HMH Dr. Wheeler served as a general urologist for Essentia Health St. Joseph's Medical Center in Minnesota. He has over 15 years of experience in the field and is focused on improving the lives of his patients by providing result driven, individualized care. 

Dr. Wheeler has extensive experience in robotics and minimally invasive surgery, and will be performing robotic prostatectomy, nephrectomy, partial nephrectomy and reconstruction, as well providing the additional services listed below. He will be working alongside Charles P. Fernicola, M.D. who has been in practice for over 30 years. The addition of Dr. Wheeler to the urology group allows for our practice to continue to provide high quality care while enhancing our ability to provide surgical services that patients may have previously needed to travel for. 

Dr. Wheeler completed medical school at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and then went on to complete a residency and internship at University of Toledo College of Medicine. 

Dr. Wheeler is excited to be joining Hackensack Meridian Medical Group and is confident in his ability to manage patient’s problems and concerns to improve their overall health.
