Sejal M Bhavsar, MD

Dr. Bhavsar is a board-certified pediatric infectious diseases specialist who provides treatment for various infections for newborns, children and young adults aged 21 and under. She is involved in teaching medical students and physicians-in-training. Her clinical interests include prolonged febrile illnesses, tickborne diseases, HIV treatment and prevention and travel medicine. She is passionate about antimicrobial stewardship. She serves as the antimicrobial steward for Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital and aims to ensure that antibiotics are appropriately prescribed for patients within the hospital.
