Silvia Fresco, MD

Dr. Silvia Fresco is a board-certified general surgeon. She earned her medical degree from UMDNJ and completed her internship and residency training at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Fresco's areas of specialization in bariatric surgery include gastric band, gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy. She belongs to a number of academic and professional associations, including the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Fresco has been named a "Top Doc" by New Jersey Monthly Magazine every year from 2007. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Fresco is very patient-centered and known for being caring, compassionate and thorough.
