Steven Markos, MD


Dr. Markos earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine Internship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center before completing his PM&R residency at the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, where he served as an Academic Chief Resident.
Dr. Markos provides patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings with a focus on cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, Parkinson’s Disease and spasticity. He also maintains a personal interest in the applications of musculoskeletal medicine to the game of golf, and maintains a golf blog during his free time.
Dr. Markos is an active member of the Association of Academic Physiatrists and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and has presented on various topics both regionally and nationally.
