Steven P Lisser, MD

Board-certified in hand surgery, orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, Dr. Lisser specializes in hand, shoulder, and elbow surgery, as well as sports medicine. He is passionate about his field, with special interests that include rotator cuff disease, ligament reconstruction, reconstructive microsurgery, arthroscopy, endoscopic carpal tunnel release, and shoulder replacement. Dr. Lisser earned his medical degree and orthopedic training from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC. Then, as a hand and microsurgery fellow at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, he trained in sports medicine and upper extremity surgery. Finally, he finished up at the University of Pennsylvania as a shoulder surgery fellow. Dr. Lisser is chairman of the Riverview Medical Center Department of Orthopedics and his practice is located in Red Bank and Marlboro, New Jersey.
