Swapnil V Patel, MD
Dr. Patel completed his residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, he served as chief resident for the internal medicine residency program during the COVID pandemic, playing an integral role in hospital structure and treatment teams. He is currently Deputy Chief of Internal Medicine at JSUMC and an Assistant Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. He strives to understand patient's challenges with their health, and create comprehensive treatment plans. Not only have does Dr. Patel focus on healthcare maintenance and treatment of common conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, but he also treats complex medical conditions both in the hospital and the outpatient setting.
Philosophy of Care
I strive to spend time explaining medical conditions to patients, helping them understand what is happening with their bodies. Afterward, I focus on collaborating with patients to create treatment plans that make sense for their individual needs. Recognizing that every patient is unique, I believe treatment plans should be equally individualized.
