Thomas Frank Priolo, MD
Dr. Thomas F. Priolo, M.D. is a psychiatrist trained in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. Dr. Priolo sees and treats patients within many settings of Hackensack Meridian Children’s Health–including crisis cases in the pediatric emergency department, psychiatry consults for in-patient, outpatient therapy, and at the Neptune Urgent Care for Behavioral Health.
Dr. Priolo cares for patients of all ages at HMH Hospitals network-wide. Lastly, Dr. Priolo is also integrated with the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship where he is the Assistant Program Director.
Philosophy of Care
I believe in compassionate care with an individualized approach to those in the community. I recognize that each patient is unique, with their own strengths, challenges, and experiences. My care centers on a therapeutic alliance with my patient and their families, fostering open and honest communication. Treatment utilizes evidence-based medicine, tailored to each patient’s specific needs, including a wide range of therapeutic and psychotropic modalities.
