Philosophy of Care
I am passionate about pediatric critical care medicine and caring for the critically ill child. I realize that the intensive care unit can be an overwhelming experience for both patients and families, and I am dedicated to making sure each family feels supported throughout their admission. That is why I continuously strive to deliver a philosophy of care that balances both patient and family centricity. As a proponent of continuous education, I strongly believe in the intersection of known evidence-based management and new treatment modalities. In the intensive care unit, many different specialists work to care for each patient, and I believe a well-functioning cohesive team is central to delivering this advanced care. That is why I am devoted to advancing the practice of pediatric critical care medicine and teaching the next generation of physicians. I hope to foster an environment of medical advancement and research as a clinical instructor.
