Dr. Benson is very knowledgeable in his field. I feel very comfortable when I go for my visits with him and he takes time to explain everything in detail. I recommend Dr. Benson to anybody that needs an ears, nose and throat.

He seem knowledgeable and I was pleased with my visit. Only exception was that I was kept waiting for one hour and a half past my scheduled time.

I was just very disappointed in how long I had to wait in the waiting room and then how long I had to wait in the examination room. That to me was almost two hours I was there. It was too long.

Had 1pm appointment didn't get seen to 2:30.

Everything that I would have to say about my experiences with Dr. Benson would be positive. My only negative comment would be that you were telephone system is absolutely horrendous. It is almost impossible to reach the office.

My initial experience with Hackensack was in the parking lot. I have handicapped plates but there were no spaces for the disabled. Actually, There were no parking spaces of any kind. I circled around for 15 minutes until I found a spot in a remote area of the lot. I walked down quite a distance on a steep hill to the elevators which were not working. A visitor suggested I walk up two flights of stairs to the 5th floor and then cut across the parking lot to the Medical building elevators which I did. From there I waited a considerable length of time bc only one elevator was working in that bank. The entire parking experience was dreadful. I walked much more than I'm capable of, especially on stairs where I'm at risk of falling. When I left the dr, I struggled to even find my car having gone through the reverse trip using stairways and broken elevators while traversing large parking lots. Dr. Benson is a professional, knowledgeable and kind physician. MSK referred me to him. I think he's the Dr I need to recover and regain my health; however, I don't want to ever again deal with the parking situation. Is there valet parking? Or a solution to this problem?

My Appt was for. 11:00 am I WAIT FOR ONE HOUR AND HALF , I was ready to live the place then doctor came and told me that I got to see an especialist for the ears

Yes, just comment I have is Dr. Benson is one of the best doctors and I've seen many that I have ever dealt with. His bedside manners are great. He's trying to get you in on time and even get you in when it's rough for him to do is excellent. He's just an all around excellent doctor. I have nothing but Good things to say about him and I would recommend him to anybody. In fact, I have. And I will continue to do so. That's about it. Thank you.

One hour and one half waiting and I was the first appointment in the morning

Dr. Benson was great. He spent a significant amount of time with me and was very thorough in his examination. He also provided good recommendations to help me feel better. The only con was that I waited for about an hour in the waiting room before being taken in for my appointment.

The only complaint I have about the office visit that I had with Dr. Benson is the wait time. I waited close to two hours. I waited an hour and 50 minutes. No one came out to tell me, give me an update. Other than that, he's awesome.

I had a very good visit with Dr. Benson. He was very good. He's going to find me a neurologist for motion problems. So I'm waiting for his phone call. But the only problem is to get an appointment with him is very hard. But I was glad I got it and I waited.

I have been a patient of Dr. Benson for a number of years and I never had to wait to see him. He was always on time. The most I waited was 10 to 15 minutes. I waited 2 hours and that unacceptable. I don't believe to was his fault however if falls back on him which is unfortunate

Well, excellent doctor, excellent officer. Everything works good, well, everything's good and greatly appreciated. And I had some issues and they've been pretty much helped to get them solved. So Dr. Benson is an officer great. Thank you.

Dr. Benson is excellent; however, the repeated delays and extended waiting times at each visit have been very concerning. During my most recent appointment, I waited over an hour past my scheduled time without any explanation or communication from the staff, which felt unprofessional.

Hi, doctor visit was nice. Doctor was listening to my problem carefully and he addressed everything but the wait time was too much. I waited almost one hour outside, more than one hour and inside hardly 15 minutes. So overall it took two hours for me to finish the entire thing. So I would request you to improve the wait time on the bedside manner so that it Time is very precious for everyone, so you should focus on that. Thank you.

My first visit with Dr Benson was excellent, right from the intake Nurse who prepared us for him. She was exceptional and thorough and put us at ease. Dr Bensons personality put me and my husband in a very comfortable place. He is not only compassionate and caring, he explains in detail and simplicity. My appointment was 2.30 p.m. And I get there before 2.30 p.m. And they took me at the last moment, like 4 p.m because my transportation was coming to pick me up. That's why he doesn't give me time for nothing. And that's why I'm very unhappy because it's like I miss, I didn't want, it's like I didn't see no doctor. No time to talk, no time for nothing. I'm sorry.

I think that Dr. Benson is a very good doctor. I think that he does a wonderful job. The only complaint I have is that it's just that sometimes he gets very, very busy. And that's understandably because he's such a good doctor. And the wait time can be a little excruciating. Other than that, it's well worth the go though. Thank you.

I appreciate Dr. Benson's sensitivity to my needs and his willingness to refer me to another provider who recently joined the faculty and uses a different technique for the procedure I need. Dr. Benson didn't need to do that but he told me I'm a good candidate for this new technique which will require less recovery time and have less risk to my teeth. Dr. Benson is outstanding

It took me a few days to get in touch with Dr. Benson's office in regards to me having an appointment to have my hearing checked. I do not know what type of service or outside services that you are using, but it is horrendous and it should be looked at and examined and changed.

Dr. Benson is an excellent Dr, but I wait more than 1 hour to be seen. At one point the secretaries didn't know if I was waiting for someone who was seen by the doctor. So I have to tell them that I was waiting to be seen.

Trying to get the first appointment was a monumental task. It took no less than 5 phone calls. The call screening process is terrible. However while sitting in the waiting area for my 1st appointment, the receptionist seemed to be able to make a personal call?!? Someone should address the appointment scheduling process.

My experience with Brian was extremely positive. This is the first time I'd ever seen an EMT. And I had some very kind of open-ended questions. He was a really good listener. And he gave me a lot of solutions and things to try and kind of a path if what I'm experiencing gets worse. I'm very happy I went to the OCM, and I'm happy that I have established a relationship. So thanks a lot.

Really not much to say, but I think Dr. Benson is one of the best doctors I have ever come across and I've been to many doctors. He's very clear on what he tells you. He puts me in whenever he can, whenever I ask him, in fact, he always finds a way. I rate him a 10 with no problem and if there were such other numbers higher, I would rate him higher. He's a very good doctor, bedside manners, he listens very clearly. I can't say enough about him. So that's the only comments I have. He's very, very, very good. He's a skilled doctor. So I thank the Lord for people like him, other doctors could learn a lot from him, if that was possible. Anyway, I appreciate him.

I waited an hour and a half to see the provider and eventually just walked out. I was not kept informed, was not given an estimate of when I would be able to see the doctor and nobody told me anything. I have a job, I drove 45 minutes to get there, it was completely disrespectful and I won't come to that office again. You need to be better organized.

Waiting time was terrible. When you call for an appointment and ask for a certain time and they tell you no ! It's very frustrating to then have to wait an hour after your scheduled appointment. I had to take my mom who is legally blind and I called to push her appointment up by a half hour and I was told that wasn't possible and then we have to sit and wait an hour! Very inconsiderate for the working person. Also you need to have Handicap bathrooms it's unbelievable to me that you have to walk so far to go to the restroom! Also in the one doctors office the female receptionist was rude.

Hello, the doctor Brian Benson is a very good doctor. I understand everything he was saying. I would like to continue to visit him and he being my doctor, my throat and ear doctor. Dr. Benson is an amazing doctor. He's very thorough. He takes his time. Every time I have an appointment with him, he really does take his time with every question that I have, explains everything in a way that I understand. And I've already recommended him to multiple people. My one thing, it has nothing really to do with the doctor himself, is just that it was kind of hard to schedule an appointment within the time frame that I needed. But that's not, again, that's just a testament to how good of a doctor he is that everybody goes to him. So that's my only thing. Other than that, Dr. Benson is amazing and his care is amazing.

Dr Benson seems like a very good doctor but I was frustrated with the office because during my first appointment i was told that if the steroids didn't work for my fluid in my ear then i would need to get a hearing test and most likely a drain tube put in my ear. After taking the steroids and told the office there was no change. I told them what Dr Benson told me and asked for appointments for a hearing test and then said that I understood that I would be scheduled for a tube. When i got to the appointment I waited and then was brought in to see Dr Benson but he didn't seem to have been told by his office staff that I had called and said there was no change and there steroids hadnt worked. He said that i shouldnt have more steroids but that I should have the ear drain. I said yes that was what I understood from last appointment and that I was told that I needed to have the hearing exam first. He informed me that the audiologist wasnt there that day so i needed to reschedule and get an appointment with the audiologist and the other dr who performs the ear drains. It was a waste of the day. I do think the office and the dr could have communicated better. It was frustrating.
