David Steinmetz, MD

David Steinmetz, M.D., is a highly skilled, board-certified, fellowship trained surgeon specializing in Endocrine Surgery. He recently joined Hackensack Meridian JFK University Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. 

Dr. Steinmetz received his Medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, The Bronx, New York. He completed his General Surgery Residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Morningside-West, in New York. He further specialized in Comprehensive Endocrine Surgery during his fellowship training at The University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami Florida.
Throughout his academic and professional career, Dr. Steinmetz has received numerous honors and awards. Dr. Steinmetz has been actively involved in research throughout his surgical training and beyond.

Dr. Steinmetz’s research has made a significant impact in the field of endocrine surgery. His work has been published in prestigious medical journals and his findings have been presented at major conferences, including the American Thyroid Association Annual Meeting, the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons Annual Meeting and the Society for American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) annual meeting.
