The office was very clean. Dr. Sheckley, his assistant and the check-in staff were very formal. I loved that they had someone to translate. It was a very pleasant appointment.

And the only opinion I could give is that when you talk to the doctor sometimes you don't know, well, better said, you don't know English, they should hire a translator, but a translator who really wants to do that job of translating, because sometimes they hire people who reluctantly explain to you what the doctor says, which is the only opinion I could give. I would like them to hire a translator who really wants to do their job. Thank you.

Doctor Sheckley is an excellent Urologist.This was my first visit and he was so specific about my issues and so knowledgeable, he cleared up `health situations that have been lingering with me for many years and all very positive. I just wish he was at 5 Marine View more than 2 times a month. I have been looking for someone that truthful for years. EXCELLENT DOCTOR

Yeah, the doctor looked like a being very in a hurry. Usually when I speak, actually he's not letting me finish what I have to say. And he's very knowledgeable, but the only thing he looked like he wanted to go fast, finish the interview.

The area in which you could most approve has to do with my chart. I still do not see this doctor in my HackingSack Meridian Health. I cannot write to him directly through my chart. I don't see his notes. And I have left a message with the office, but I couldn't even talk to them directly. It had to be done through some centralized number with a nice man on the phone, put a message into the office. So barring going there in person, there's no way for me to get in here and communicate with this doctor, and I have results in the system, so I can't talk to him about them.

The attention was excellent, very excellent, from the hospital, the doctors, the nurses, and all the staff. Everything was excellent.

Because I had an injection to remove the catheter, he treated me well.

I paid $365 just for nothing . The doctor told me that he can't help after listened my issue and he recommend me another doctor...

I've had an ongoing problem for more than six months and have seen many doctors. And I felt that Dr. Sheckley did not listen to me and did not provide any new insight and did not take my concerns seriously.

Unfortunately, this Dr only comes to Hoboken once a month. But I really thought he was excellent.

I'm very frustrated with poor communication from Hackensack Meridian Health. None of my communication touchpoints seem to be connected within the organization. I respond to appointment confirmations multiple times. I provide information in multiple places and forms, again, multiple times. I'm providing the same information over and over. When I'm asked to call back, I usually end up with a generic number that does not get me in touch with the person or group that called me. The online portal gives the impression of more interactive care but, interactions online don't yield responses, information, or better care. The person scheduling my follow-up appointment doesn't know what its for, or why it exists, so I'm given the right information when I need it. And to top it off there was an oversight in getting me the right prescriptions and next steps for my next appointment, wasting months of time because after waiting two months, I now I can't get in for the testing that I need until another two months from today. It feels like a lot of things have been set up to create efficiency and to create benefits of scale of a large medical group but its has made care very impersonal, and left me with the impression that no one has oversight over my care. (Also, I don't think the survey is structured to get quality feedback, and helpful data, I would guess responses are biased favorably based on the options given for responses)

Well, I was well attended to. The doctor was very good at explaining everything to me. He didn't schedule an appointment because he was going to repeat an exam for me, and I really liked the doctor. They gave me an interpreter since I don't speak English. Well, the care was very good and fast.

Overall great experience

The doctor is great, I have not complaint about he or his assistants BUT to obtain an appointment with the specialist he referred me was a living nightmare and I will see the other doctor which I was referred to in another hospital. I will keep this doctor , he is good, courteous and professional
