Dr. G is always very attentive and caring. He takes whatever time is necessary to diagnose and explain everything that prompted your visit. He's "old school, hands on" which is very hard to find today! Like visiting with a friend.

Dr. G is a very attentive, kind, and caring doctor. He takes the time to listen to you and talk with you. He doesn't make you feel rushed or silly or make you feel at all self-conscious about your questions or concerns. He really takes the time to talk to you.

Dr GUARIGLIA and his team worked in sync from patient prepping, to being seen and checked out with recommendations of follow-up. They are exceptional on every level.

Hi, I think the doctor was really attentive. He listened to my concern about weight gain over the 10 years. And he did suggest that, yes, I should start on setbound if I don't have diabetes. So, yes, I got into the program of setbound to help me lose weight. And he was very, very good in knowing the procedure in doing so. Thank you.

The only issue was I had to wait over 1 hour. The doctor had told me there was issues with the computer early and that they were catching up.

Dr. G was great as always.

The doctor was very professional but I did not feel that he knew about Lynne disease and did not really understand what my concerns were. I don't really feel like he read my chart throughout to understand why I was coming in. His manner was very polite and he was courteous. He wrote two prescriptions for me which I appreciate, but I felt he just didn't know about the subject of Lynne and that was why I was coming in. I do not have insurance so the visit was very costly for me to just get two prescriptions but no actual advice about whether I have Lynne disease from this tick bite and whether there is anything else I can do within the window of three weeks to assure that I won't get Lynne disease.

Dr. Guariglia is a caring, compassionate and outstanding physician. His staff is outstanding as well. I drive 1 hour to get to Dr. Guariglia's office. I would drive 2 hours if necessary. I have been a patient of Dr. Guariglia for 24 years. I have referred many people to Dr. Guariglia. They have become his patients and my colleagues now understand why I drive 1 hour to get to his office.

I always wait 1 to 2 hours waiting for a 5 minutes appt. This time I waited 1 hour and 40 minutes to get a prescription increase and refilled.

I find that most women in the office are really nice and easy to talk to, I have no issues, but I must say it's nice to be noticed which they do, I'm not just a number. I am a person, and I feel like I'm a person in their office.

Dr. G on Union Valley Road in West Milford is a godsend. For 15 years, well, for years, we didn't have him. We've had him for 15 years here in West Milford, Hewitt. He's a very kind, compassionate, loving person. Everybody up here respects him. He's a good, good man. And I'll make sure I got a chance to tell him every time. George Guariglia is a very good man. He's a good, great doctor.

Dr. G is a great doctor. The wait times in that office have always been horrible. It's the reason why my wife stopped going to him, but because he's a good doctor, I still go, but the wait time's usually always over an hour. And they should really do the blood work before a physical. So they have the results when you go to get the physical and you can talk about it with the doctor when you're there, as opposed to getting the results read to you from a receptionist over the phone.

Dr Guariglia is a highly skilled doctor and is caring of his patients. He spends ample time with me. Answers all my questions. Provides valuable advice

He's the best doctor I've seen in the last 15 years. He explains things to you clearly. He helps guide you in the direction that you are in better health. And you have a confidence talking to him. He's a good doctor.

Dr G is a great doctor who is always attentive to your needs.

He normally keeps us waiting but as it was a slight emergency, bee sting, saw us right away, but very unhappy with St. Anthony's hospital, who didn't do what he recommended and plan to tell them so. We shouldn't have gone there, they put ice on it and put him on a steroid, Dr. G wanted him to do an antibiotic infusion, they declined.

The doctor's staff is great. Dr. Gurigulia went all out to provide me an appointment with a Urologist within three hours, fantastic.

Dr. G was extremely compassionate and understanding.

The office is run very well, except that after your appointment, you go into the room, you have to wait anywhere from 15 minutes to 45 minutes before the doctor comes in. That's a big complaint. That's all.

My provider was wonderful, careful, checked everything, very happy, and he's wonderful. Thank you.

Provider is great but having to deal with an answering service that knows nothing about you n that is short with you is horrible. I wouldn't recommend this because it's not a family friendly doctor anymore.

Unbelievable

While we may have to wait a little bit once you see Dr G you have his total attention and don't feel rushed.

They were very proficient, very effective, very professional, and he was a terrific

I've been going to this doctor for almost 20 years. And when I showed up, they wanted me to fill out all the forms for a family history and then proceeded to tell me that they didn't have any of my records on file. The only reason I keep going back to this doctor is the convenience of getting in to see him and that they have all my records. And if they don't have all my records and can't be bothered to maintain a proper record system, that eliminates 50% of the only two reasons why I go to see them. Thank you.

My time is just as important as his. My appt was at 930. I did not get into an exam room until 1020. I did not get out from my appt until 1110. Mind you this was just for a blood pressure check so my meds could be refilled.

The office staff is great, Doctor G is great. The waiting time can be a little long but this is not in anyone's control. Overall an A+.

The wait time is just always awful. I know it's a big town and there is a lot of patients but it seems like it should be a call and wait in a local spot before going into to the appt so that the waiting room isn't a miserable place and the WiFi doesn't work. The workers are good it's just the getting in to a room and the waiting before the appt and in the room.

Been going to Highlander Family Medicine for years, and always had great service.

It was such a pleasure to have a doctor actually listen to me and work with me to try to get to the root of my problems rather than just prescribing another pill.

I've been going to Dr G for over 25 years and I would never change. I know he gets busy at times but he likes to be patient and careing with everyone he sees.

Dr. G treats me like I'm a member of the family, always has. His staff is very, very sweet, very, very informative about what's going on. The nurse comes in that checks my vitals is also very, very tedious about her work and knows exactly what she's doing and gives very good directions. It's a pleasure. Thank you.

When this office makes you an appointment they make sure they call you 50 times. Send it 300 emails over and over again but when you get in that office you sets in one of those examination rooms for over an hour I was getting ready to walk out and the girls talked me into staying. I must say the doctor and I walked into the building at exactly the same time stop

Waited 40 minutes to see the doctor. Once everything was completed, I had been at the clinic for almost 2 hours

It was a triple AAA experience

You can improve the wait time. I waited for 45 minutes and then I had to open the door and go out and ask the office staff when I would be seen next.

Dr. G is wonderful and even though we always have to wait to see him, it's worth the wait because we know he won't rush us when he gets there. We love him.

It took 2 days and 5phone calls and stop by to get the presciption to the pharmacy

My experience this time was wonderful other times not so in the past there were things on my test results that we're not good that were blown off to be nothing like very low vitamin d level high protein level a lot of inflammation in my body and I wasn't told what to do about it I was just told it's fine and everything looks good on all my tests

The nurse gathering information regarding previous diagnostic testing and history, did not have the information available to her via computer. It's extremely hard to remember exact dates of mammography, colonoscopy, papsmear, vaccinations, ect. This information should be universal and readily available to all treating health care providers regardless of privacy. It will not only help the providers in proper treatments and diagnosis, but also prevent misdiagnosing a patient. It is important all providers have access to the same information regarding medications and medication history.

Yes, he did not follow up after I had my blood work. He had the nurse practitioner make a remark on my chart and she was not even in the office on the day that I saw Dr. Guariglia. This is not acceptable to me and I will be finding another doctor. So this is not good practice. He's the one that should have called me or went on my chart. Like I said, she was not even in the office that day. Thank you.

Dr. G is a great doctor for kids. My kids love going to Dr. G's office. They've been seeing him since they were newborns. And I love his staff and his nurse practitioners.

I really like my GP, George Guariglia, but since he is now a member of Hackensack Meridian Healthcare System, I am not happy at all. I cannot reach his office. I am getting bills now that I never got before because of the billing method. It is a total screw up and I am not happy at all since he has joined Hackensack Meridian Healthcare. I liked him way before his office ran more efficient when he was not part of Hackensack Meridian Healthcare. Since he has joined them, there is nothing but problems with billing and scheduling.

Was taken into room very quickly but waited nearly an hour to see the doctor after the nurse had done initial physical and test. I was within minutes of leaving when doctor finally showed

Dr. Guariglia is amazing. He's been our family doctor since like 2010. I have nothing but good stuff to say about him. He's amazing. My only criticism and it really has nothing to do with him is trying to make an appointment now we're kind of rerouted to Hackensack Meridian and we don't go to the office directly and that is a major problem because you might just need to speak to someone and make a quick appointment and it takes way too long. That's really my only criticism. Other than that, he's amazing and we have a severely disabled daughter and he works with us so beautifully and everybody at the office is awesome too. That's it.
