Gregg Roger Klein, MD

Gregg Klein, M.D., is a fellowship trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in primary and revision hip replacement, partial knee replacement, and primary and revision knee replacement. Dr. Klein and his colleagues recently established a new practice, Orthopedic Specialists of New Jersey.

Dr. Klein has particular interest in robotic joint replacement surgery, and is one of the developers and designers of a robotic knee replacement system used worldwide. He is an expert in specialized surgical techniques including direct anterior and mini-posterior hip replacement, and minimally invasive partial and total knee replacement. His specific areas of interest include hip and knee arthritis, avascular necrosis, osteonecrosis, and rheumatoid arthritis. Dr. Klein's goal is to improve the quality of life for each patient by helping them resolve their symptoms and getting them back to doing the activities they love.

He has served on the editorial board for the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, Clinical Orthopedics and Related Research, and the Journal of Arthroplasty. Dr. Klein has also published numerous scientific articles, textbooks, and book chapters in the field of orthopedics and joint replacement. He is actively engaged in ongoing joint replacement research. He is recognized as a Top Doctor by New Jersey Monthly, Castle Connolly, Bergen County Magazine and 201 Magazine.

Away from the office, Dr. Klein enjoys spending time with his wife and their two daughters. He is an avid runner and skier, and a frustrated golfer.
