When you commit to a course of action, follow through without requiring patient prompting. Either practice medicine to proper standards or reconsider your profession entirely. The priority should be meeting at least the minimum standards of care, not maximizing patient throughput at the expense of quality. Your failure to honor stated commitments is unacceptable in healthcare.
