Harry D Harper, MD

Hematologist/oncologist Harry D. Harper, M.D., is skilled in treating all types of thoracic cancers, especially lung cancer-the most common type of thoracic cancer seen at John Theurer Cancer Center. His has experience treating small cell lung cancer, non-small cell lung cancers (such as epidermoid carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, and large cell carcinoma), and pleural mesothelioma. Dr. Harper employs chemotherapy before surgery, as a treatment for advanced cancer, and in combination with radiation therapy when appropriate. He is an expert in targeted therapies and personalized medicine for lung cancer.
